What is an AV extender and when do I need one?
An AV extender transmits video, audio and often USB/KVM signals beyond the 5–10 m limit of standard cables — over Cat5e/6, fiber or IP. You need one whenever sources (PC, camera, matrix) and displays/consoles are separated by a room, floor or building.
What is the maximum transmission distance?
It depends on the medium: Cat6 extenders reach up to ~120 m, HDBaseT up to 100 m, and single-mode fiber optical transmitters extend to 10–20 km with zero compression and EMI immunity.
Do your products support 4K / 8K and HDR?
Yes. Our HDMI 2.0/2.1 and DisplayPort lines support 4K@60Hz and 8K-ready resolutions with HDR (HDR10 / Dolby Vision where applicable), transmitted uncompressed to preserve color accuracy.
Can video and USB/KVM be extended together?
Absolutely. Our KVM extenders and KVM-over-IP products carry video plus keyboard, mouse, USB 2.0/3.0 and RS-232/IR over a single link — ideal for control rooms and server management.
Do you offer OEM / ODM and custom firmware?
Yes. We provide OEM/ODM services including private labeling, housing/PCB customization and firmware tuning for volume projects. Contact sales@bluegee.cn with your requirements.
How are EDID and HDCP handled?
Devices manage EDID automatically (learning or fixed modes) and support HDCP 1.4/2.2 passthrough so protected content displays correctly across the extended link.
What are typical lead times and MOQ?
Standard products ship in 1–2 weeks; OEM/ODM runs are 3–5 weeks after confirmation. MOQ is flexible — sample and small-batch orders are welcome for evaluation.
Which interfaces and countries do you support?
We cover HDMI, DisplayPort, SDI, VGA and USB-C. Products are CE/FCC/RoHS certified and shipped worldwide through our distributor and direct-sales channels.
